Discover how we transformed chamber attestation from a manual process into a scalable digital trust infrastructure

Jeddah Chamber Online Attestation

2009-Ongoing

Building an integrated online attestation platform that supports document verification, approval workflows, company records, visa-related services, and token-based digital trust.

The Challenge

Attestation is not just a transaction. It is a trust function.

For years, the process relied on physical presence, service counters, paper documents, barcode handling, manual review, and repeated follow-up. Businesses had to wait for an essential service that was slow, fragmented, and difficult to track.

Jeddah Chamber needed more than an electronic form. It needed a secure service environment that could reduce physical visits, digitize submission and validation, preserve approval control, manage company records and document history, support Arabic-first workflows, and give internal teams visibility over requests, actions, statuses, and delays.

Vision & Objectives

The vision was to transform chamber attestation from a manual counter-based service into a reliable digital trust infrastructure. The platform had to serve businesses faster while protecting the chamber’s role as an official validation authority.

The objective was to build a scalable operational model for certification, verification, document control, approval workflows, company access, user roles, dashboards, notifications, auditability, and long-term service continuity.

  • Reduce dependence on chamber visits and service counters
  • Digitize submission, validation, approval, and verification workflows
  • Preserve official approval control and operational accountability
  • Manage company records, document history, and status-driven records
  • Improve Arabic-first experience for business users
  • Support token-based digital trust and service continuity
  • Build a scalable foundation for approval and visa-linked

Strategic Plan & Phases

word

Discover: Analyze chamber services, manual pain points, business needs, and approval requirements

word

Define: Structure roles, company records, document flows, statuses, routing, and approval controls

word

Design: Create an Arabic-first journey with clearer access, support, searchable records, and responsive usability

word

Build & Secure: Develop workflows, dashboards, logs, notifications, token-based attestation, and SMS fallback

word

Expand & Sustain: Extend the platform to verification, MOI/MOFA-related services, support, restoration, and long-term operation

Challenges & Constraints

The platform had to operate in a trust-sensitive environment where every document, action, company record, approval, and verification step carried institutional weight. It had to be simple for businesses and controlled enough for the chamber to rely on.

It also had to support real operational load over time: document records, company accounts, admin workflows, token authentication, visa-related services, support tickets, security testing, restoration planning, and a multi-server environment.

  • Manual processes created delays, queues, and repeated follow-up
  • Trust-sensitive transactions required secure validation and controlled approvals
  • Multiple departments and roles needed visibility, routing, and accountability
  • Users needed Arabic-first workflows that reduced confusion and errors
  • Token-related service continuity had to be maintained during technical issues
  • Security risks had to be tested, identified, remediated, and hardened
  • Long-term operation required support, documentation, restoration, and infrastructure continuity

estimated customer-hours may have been saved in 2019 through reduced travel, waiting, and manual handling

User Needs

Businesses needed a faster, clearer way to complete chamber attestation without repeated visits. Users required easier registration, login, document submission, validation, password recovery, support access, and follow-up.

The platform also needed to serve Arabic-first users with different levels of digital familiarity through clearer CTAs, cleaner document lists, visible support paths, responsive design, and workflows that reduced errors in trust-sensitive transactions.

Internal teams needed visibility over incoming requests, assigned cases, delayed transactions, document versions, archives, user actions, status changes, and service performance. The platform had to work as a daily management environment, not only a public portal.
